There were times when the scenes were no longer holding my attention. I think what I also struggled with in this book was the slow-pacing. I was glad, though, because she eventually changed in the succeeding chapters. She was rude to Jack the moment she recognized who he was (Jack didn't even do something to make her act that way, which is kind of ironic). Keri Ann's character also annoyed me at the first parts of the book. I believe it has something to do with the absence of chemistry between the main characters Jack and Keri Ann. However, after reading this book, I felt conflicted. Another is Jack Eversea, the hero of this book, who is not only Movie-Star hotness incarnate but a very interesting character. First is the writing of the author which is undeniably great. There was actually so much to love about this book. and Jack must decide whether this funny, sassy girl is worth changing his life for, before his mistakes catch up to him.Įversea has a very interesting synopsis and a beautiful cover which are the main reasons why I've been wanting to read it.
